Shred Singletrack With Us
A guided mountain bike trip to Crested Butte offer fast, long, narrow singletrack, with amazing views. Bring your XC bike, or bring your Enduro sled, either way, you’re gonna have a blast.
The trails begin to melt out in April and May and you can expect lush green valleys with snow-capped peaks. By late June, all but a few of the highest rides are in shape and the wildflowers begin to fill the valley floor. July through September is prime time. Wildflowers peak in July and early August. The high-country riding is at its best in late August and September, with golden Aspen groves glowing below. The season wraps sometime in October or November.
Thank you again for everything! Ten-star trip. Everyone is so happy. We’ll be back next sure for sure.

Short Laps or Long Epics - Crested Butte has it
If you’re short on time, the town trails are great and can fill a couple days alone. If you have the legs, lungs, and time, the backcountry trails are nearly endless. In a week, you won’t even scratch the surface of the 800 miles around the Gunnison Valley. After 25 years here, we still ride new pieces of trail every summer. There’s a few option for shuttle rides, but to really get to know the Crested Butte trails plan to pedal up and down.
The elevation is significant, so come prepared. So you can acclimatize, the longer you can stay, the better you’ll feel. Don’t bite off too much in your first few days sleeping near 9,000 feet. Plan to settle in for some steady and effortful climbs. Know that it’s all worth it – this zone is home to Enduro World Series caliber descents, and exceptional trail quality. With multiple full-time trail crews and hundreds of volunteers grooming our backyard trails, you know it’s gonna be good.
