Friday Hikes!
$150A long-standing tradition at Colorado Backcountry - on Friday we explore! Since 2006, these guided group hikes visit remote, seldom visited gems around the Gunnison Basin. You might think you have seen it all around her, but we promise on Friday's we'll open your eyes.
We design Friday Hikes for adventure lovers! You will experience precious moments in spectacular locations. Our guides will put you in the right place at the right time.
Late spring, we start with modest 4-6 mile adventures at lower elevations, and build up to longer 8-12+ mile epics as the summer progresses. Most hikes include a combination of on and off-trail travel. We use the amazing network of routes laid by miners, elk, cows, or other locals who explored Gunnison County before us.
Fill your daypack with essentials: lunch, snacks, water, rain gear, a headlamp, and extra layers. Toss on your hiking shoes. Meet at the 4-way parking lot in Crested Butte at 6:30am. We’ll carpool to the trailhead and head into the backcountry for an unforgettable adventure!
$150/person, Minimum 4 hikers to run the trip.
