All Clinics

We load all of our clinics with tons of fun and massive amounts of learning! To accelerate your progress, we practice meticulously-designed skills drills blended with coached time on trail. Throughout our clinics you’ll work one-on-one with your coach, getting specific, direct feedback on each drill and skill. We will differentiate instruction / split into groups as needed based on the participant abilities. Maximum student to coach ratio is 6 : 1.

2-Day Level 1 and Level 1 Formats

We design our two-day camps for learners who want an intensive, immersive learning experience. Whether you travel to one of our clinic venues or live locally, you’ll make massive gains quickly. If you’re short on time and want to progress quickly, consider a 2-day clinic.

During the morning sessions we hit it hard with instruction, drills, and feedback, generally in a parking lot. We take a short break for lunch before hitting the trail for the afternoon. If we need to drive to the trails, that happens during the lunch break. The afternoon trail ride builds on the morning skills, with real-world application and feedback. We wrap up between 4:00 and 5:00 with a review of the day and some time to answer questions.

Shred-Prep and Shred-Tech Formats

The Shred-Preps are 4-week camps that cover most of the same topics as our signature Two-Day Level 1 camps. The big difference is a spread-out learning pace. Each week we run a ~2.5 hour evening session that focus on just a couple skills. Over the course of each week, you can practice on your own time to get more repetition before layering on new skills at the next session. This format works great for locals with day-time work schedules, or those that appreciate time for self-directed practice between the sessions.

Shred-Tech clinics are stand-alone, on-trail clinics for riders who have done either the Shred Prep, Level 1, or Level 2 courses. Each clinics focuses on specific skills. These are perfect for intermediate through expert riders who want to target specific skills, on-trail.

Assess Your Skill Level

1

Level 1

New Riders

Newer riders looking to develop solid foundational skills, avoid bad habits, and build confidence AND experienced riders with little or no coaching who are looking to improve skills and correct bad habits. Skills focus includes shifting, braking, bike set-up, vision, balance, ascending and descending body position, cornering, wheel lifts and small obstacles. This clinic is perfect for those hoping to start the sport strong before bad habits develop or for those wanting specific, personalized feedback on the most essential skills.

2

Level 2

Intermediate & Advanced

Designed for intermediate and advanced riders riders with some previous coaching who are looking to take their riding to the next level. Skills focus includes pumping, jumping, dropping, advanced cornering, tackling large obstacles, wheelies, and switchbacks. (Note that these minimum skills are required, regardless of previous time spent on a bike: foundational knowledge of cornering, ability to ascend and descend with proper body position, ability to maneuver over small obstacles. We strongly believe that mastery of the foundational skills is necessary to succeed with more advanced skills.)
